My name is Melissa and I am a full time student at Lakehead University currently studying to become a teacher. I am very passionate about individual growth and development and I’m constantly seeking innovative ways to engage my students. I am excited to participate in a course called Digital Teaching and Learning that inspires us to think differently about incorporating digital technologies in the classroom. I am hoping to learn more about how to integrate digital media in the classroom to engage students in more meaningful lesson plans.
On a more personal note, coffee gets me through the day! When I’m not in class or working at my full time job in finance, I am busy planning my own wedding for 2017! My fiancé and I have a dog (pug and beagle mix) named Maybel who is the center of attention ALWAYS!
